RAILROAD EGINEER SUCCUMBS IN DESERT
May 15,1953
A Union Pacific railroad engineer, George A. Brimmer 41 apparently died of a heart attack shortly after leaving his engine early Wednesday morning at Kelso.

Acoording to the Sheriff's Capt. Chlifford P. Brown of the Barstow sherriff's substaion Brimmer collopsed and died a few minutes after leaving his helper engine at 3:50 a.m.

Brimmer was on his way home when he collapsed. He is survived by his wife. The body was taken to O'Donnell's Funeral Home at Barstow where an examination will be held to determine the cause of death.
