Eastern Star Elects Officers: New 1951 Members Feted
New officers of Colton Chapter Order of the Eastern Star, were elected Wednesday evening following a dinner honoring new members. Mrs. Miriam Crouch will head the chapter as worthy matron and Doanld H. McIntosh was elected worthy partron for the 1952 term. Additional elective officers include associate matron, Helen riggings; associate patron, Mac Lookingbill; conductress, Daisy Fullam; associate conductress Hazel Spicer; secretary Florence Buchler and treasurer, Eleanor Olson. Other officers are appointive. Initiation of five new members and the acceptance of five others by balloting, were other features of Wednesday nights meeting. Jen Erichsen, newly-appointed district deputy grand matron, was given special escort and spoke briefly.The meeting was conducted by Mrs. Eunice Benjamin, worthy matron and Delbert Standley worth patron. Preceding the business session a dinner honoring new members was held in the dining room. Assisting Mrs. McIntosh were Nannie Maxwell, Daisy Fullum, Kate Caster, Stella Cooley, Miriam Crouch, Eva Standley, Helen riggings, Esther Creason, Anna Clark, Agnes Castlebury, Ida Williamson, Lula Day and Bernice Phillips. Among those invited as special guest were Anital Lytell, Mra dn Mrs. Albert Myers, Jeanne Rouse, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lowell, Mac Lookingbill, Bertha Fedigan, Mary Frances Flint, Nellie Smith, Susie Smith, Phinette Smith, Anita Groff, Bessie Ellenberg, Winnie Purcell, Otto Hensel, and Mr. and Mrs. William Comini, Earl Day, James Phillips, Mr. and Mrs. John Sprague, Mr. and Mrs. Clark Simmons, LeClaire Boyle,Ida Williamson and Agnes Castlebury
