FONTANA-Nov.15-George William Shelly, son of Mr. and Mrs. George L. Shelly of 2584 West Slover avenue was christened Sunday at Fontana Community church by the Rev. Horace S. Cushing.
The baby, who was born Aug. 10,1951 was carried to the alter by his godparents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Burdick. The christening was held during the morning worship hour.
The immediate family includes George's two sisters,Doris and Peggy, a paternal grandmother, Mrs. J.B. Swan of San Bernardino, and a maternal grandfather, A. W. Johnstone. The baby was named after his father and grandfather.
